The Gardens | Cheyenne Botanic Gardens

The Cheyenne Botanic Gardens boast nine acres of award-winning perennial and annual landscapes, as well as a diverse collection of specialty exhibits, a year-round vegetable garden, and the shining Grand Conservatory.

Walk through the xeriscape, rose, herb, cacti, wetland, cottage, and woodland gardens, spend quiet moments by Discovery Pond, travel the Garden Labyrinth, or linger in any of the historic Rotary Century Plazas to experience the life of early Wyoming settlers. There’s always something new to see!

BEDONT ROSE GARDEN

This garden of roses was designed to withstand the harsh climate of the Wyoming plains.

RECKLING HERB GARDEN

Get up close. This herb garden was grown to inspire the senses.

Labyrinth

Meditate along this winding labyrinth path. You may just find what you’ve been looking for.

Sensory Garden and Gazebo

This raised garden bed was made to be both accessible and therapeutic to those with disabilities.

Crevice Garden

Our crevice garden was installed in Fall of 2017 after the completion of the Grand Conservatory building by renowned crevice gardener Kenton Seth and Exterior Horticulturist Jacob Mares.

Habitat Hero Pollinator Garden

Sponsored and Planted by the High Plains Audubon Society our Habitat Hero Garden is a representation of low water gardening.

Cottage Garden

Like most traditional cottage gardens, our cottage garden boasts full of color and textures as it overflows with green, lush plants. It's free flowing and organic spaces create a wonderful spot for wandering.

Perennial Walk

The perennial borders at the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens are ever changing and provide for many ideas of new plants as well as great uses for old plants. The garden begins showing blooms in early April and provides a show all the way until early November.
